Host families are at the core of everything we do here at Belgravia Guardians. They provide the feeling of home for those that are thousands of miles from their own family, and they offer a safe and secure environment for our students during their time away from school. They are the soul of what we do.
Host families open their doors to students, usually over ‘exeat’ weekends, and half terms, with some students opting for a few days over Christmas, Easter or Summer holidays as well.

Becoming a host with Belgravia can allow you to earn a competitive additional income with a minimum commitment of a couple of weekends a year. You can earn a competitive flat rate for each child who stays overnight and additional payment for travelling, attending schools visits and assisting with emergency situations. You can even claim expenses on petrol, day trips and other extras.
Belgravia's team is there to support you from the beginning of the application to the time the students return to school. To make sure that your experience with us is as smooth as possible, we will always aim to ask you well in advance of the time a student needs hosting, and provide you with detailed information about the student. We provide 24/7 phone support and we will help you prepare for parents' evenings or academic visits.
Offering your home to an international student is a rewarding experience that enriches the lives of both host and student. For many of the students, studying in the UK may be their first time travelling outside of their home country, so a warm, welcoming home is essential to providing an environment that supports their studies. For hosts and students, sharing a home is a unique opportunity to learn more about different cultures and create memories that last a lifetime.

Belgravia is a small and caring guardianship company that supports international students throughout the UK. We are looking for host families to welcome one or more students into their home for a few weekends a year, as well as some half term weeks. Hosting is paid, and we will assist families with all support and guidance. You don’t need any previous experience in education or even hosting, just a spare room, a caring nature, and a desire to be a home-from-home for international students at boarding school, in the absence of their family.
